Joomla is great…but it can be a challenge to understand and learn. Joomla Movies is a Joomla tutorial site with the sole aim of teaching the basics and advanced concepts behind Joomla via easy-to-learn online training videos. I’ve been personally using Joomla back in early 2000 when it was called Mambo and I’ve accomplished a level of proficiency in it that I can easily share via videos. Why Wordpress?

Wondering why a Joomla training site is built on Wordpress? The answer is simple. As of this date, there isn’t a single Joomla Membership Component available that will easily allow membership subscriptions with solid documentation. The availability of YourMembers for Wordpress made the move a no-brainer. Plus, the recent release of threaded comments in Wordpress allows for a strong community as well. Win-win for everyone. I suspect Joomla will be a real CMS killer once a solid component is released for memberships.
